We acknowledge that we live, work, and grow on the unceded traditional territory of the Quw'utsun Peoples. Only recently have these lands become known as part of Canada, and the colonial process by which this has occurred has permanently ruptured Indigenous traditions, families and livelihoods. We recognize that we are uninvited guests on this land and that it is a privilege to be here. We commit to making reconciliation a daily, lived practice.
